Tenant Grant Scheme

A common criticism of property management companies from tenants is that they do not care about tenants and are only interested in the money. Well, we do care about our tenants and are prepared to put our money where our mouth is. Whilst we have a responsibility to our owners to ensure tenants take good care of a property and pay their rent on time, we also understand that sometimes life can be tough for people. Unexpected costs can place a real strain on the family budget at times. To help with genuine cases of hardship we created the Champion Property Management Grant Scheme funded by ourselves.

Champion Property Management Limited provides a grant that is available for tenants who can show genuine financial hardship. The grants are designed to assist tenants who are meeting their tenancy obligations but are facing some form of genuine financial hardship. The funds can be applied to anything other than rent and is commonly used for things like food, petrol, school fees and unexpected bills such as electricity and doctors. The grants are limited to Champion Property Management tenants who have been tenants for a minimum of 6 months and who do not have rent arrears. Grants are for a maximum of $100 per grant. A selection is made every two months by an independent member of the community. There are some terms and conditions associated with the scheme (see the application form for details).
